Balance Virtual Retreat This Saturday August 26

Space still remains for Satruday's Your Balanced Life! Virtual Retreat which will be held by phone from 10 am - 4 pm (EST) on Saturday August 26th. Retreat from your home, office, cottage or anywhere you have phone access from.

The day is dedicated to exploring the balance in our life, our values and our vision. Throughout the day we will be defining, envisioning and creating a plan for a more balanaced life. We will be meeting every hour at the top of the hour for approximately 15 minutes, with the rest of the hour spent individually retreating in our own location, completing individual exercises.

Each retreat participant will receive:
  • A retreat manual (sent electronically), full of resources, exercises and other tips for balance. We will be using this as our guide for the day.
  • A 30 minute individual coaching session with me (by phone) after the retreat

Retreat participants are responsible for their own long distance charges. If you haven't participated in a teleclass or conference call before don't let this hold you back - I will answer any questions you have when you register.

Space is limited to 12 participants - Don't miss out on this opportunity to move towards creating more balance in your life. Further details about the program can be found at www.groupcoachingessentials.com/pages/balancevirtualretreat. The cost for the day is $97 USD, and payments are accepted by Visa and personal cheque.

I hope to have you join me this Saturday for an inspirational, supportive and energizing day! You can reserve your spot by calling me toll free at 1-866-217-1960 or emailing me at jennifer@potentialsrealized.com.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Omeyocan:Guided Meditation CD from Coach Annie Gelfand

I often receive questions from readers regarding resources to support them in moving towards a more balanced life. I will be featuring a number of them in coming blog posts.

Today, I wanted to share with you one amazing resource from an incredibly talented coach, Annie Gelfand. Omeyocan (which means Highest Heaven in Mayan) is a 52 minute long CD which includes guided breathing, meditations and imagery. It is divided into cuts which allows you to skip to the tracks you enjoy most.

More information on Omeyocan is available on Annie's website: www.anniegelfand.com. You can also listen to a sample audio clip as well at her site. The CD costs $25, plus shipping, and also makes an exellent gift for friends and family. Order forms are available at www.anniegelfand.com.

I highly recommend this CD, as well as Annie's work. She is an incredibly talented coach, and I hope that you will take a listen to her audio sampler, and consider treating yourself!

Have a wonderful start to the week,
Jennifer

Lights Out

Last night a powerful storm ripped through our area, cutting off electricity in our area for about six hours. After the violence of the storm had passed, it was actually a really cozy feeling to finish up the evening by candlelight, with no distractions - no TV, no radio, no computer. Just silence and darkness. It felt very calming to not be surrounded by the usual noise and distratctions of everyday life for a few hours, very similar to how I feel when I am on retreat - particularly those that I run in nature. What was very interesting for me was how clear and creative my thoughts were in the silence.

For many years when I was working internationally I lived in a country where we were accustomed to 18 hours of blackout (loss of power). Life was naturally slower with things getting done "just now", when lights and power permitted.

When was the last time you wrapped yourself up in the silence of "lights out"?
